Pack up the Babies and Grab the Old Ladies

Okay... so Bea is no longer a baby (she'll be four next week.) And although at the close of this week I will be 33, I don't think I quite fall into the old lady category yet. Non-the-less, the April birthday girls are joining the April birthday boy for a night in Suzhou on Wednesday night. We're catching a flight to Shanghai mid-day Wednesday (we get our passports back that a.m.-- whoo hoo!) Since the big girls have school and yoga, they are pretty excited to be having some special time with St. ayi Lu Lu midweek too. While in Suzhou, Sean will connect with a few colleagues and "Baby" Bea and I will tour the "Venice of the East."

Some of you perhaps remember that drivel I penned a month or so ago about putting suitcases away in their proper place ... no more. We are Suzhou bound this week, off to Guilin and Yangshou next week, and hopping a plane to Seoul the beginning of May.

We have had two families in our company recently and abruptly get their packing papers. We have decided that if the same thing comes down the pipe for us during this year that is less-than-prosperous, we do not want to lament about all the places we didn't get to see. So, suitcases are out, passports will soon be in hand, and we're packing up the babies and grabbing the old lady (and the 'old man' too!)
