Before we moved to the Middle Kingdom, my thoughtful friend Rebekah bought the girls the Big Bird Goes to China DVD. I listened to that PBS produced program more times that I could count as it kept the kids content that fall in the back seat of our Honda Pilot as we shuttled around Chicagoland getting passports, photos, and all the pokes and prods necessary to move abroad.
One of the landmarks featured in the Big Bird movie is the Stone Elephant Hill. It was with great pleasure that we finally saw with our own eyes the Chinese landmark we had learned about nearly four years ago!
