It's cherry time! We are loving these tiny sweet cherries with just a touch of sour.
MGJ went cherry picking in a mountain orchard with her classmates last Friday. But for the little girls at least, nothing beats picking orangey-red, ripe cherries off the tree in our back garden.

We have cherries in our yard here in Colorado, but the birds always seem to get to them before we can. Do your little girls have to fight the birds for the cherries as well?
Not this year. I was surprised though. It seemed like the birds always got to our cherry tree in IL before we did!
